Requirements

Before our Microsoft Sentinel service can be deployed, the following prerequisites must be met:

Azure Requirements

• An active Azure subscription (trial subscriptions are not supported).

Permissions

• A user with Owner or equivalent rights on the subscription to perform the deployment.

• The same user must have Global Admin rights to grant consent for an enterprise application (for onboarding data sources).

Licensing & Costs

• Microsoft Sentinel and Log Analytics usage are billed directly through Azure.
